Initiated by the Center of Islamic Civilization under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan and the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, scientific and educational events titled «Caravan of Enlightenment» on the theme «Civilization, Culture, and Enlightenment» will take place throughout the country. This was reported by the press service of the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of Uzbekistan's Cultural Heritage.
The «Caravan of Enlightenment» is being conducted to promote the development path of the cultural and humanitarian sphere in New Uzbekistan, achievements of the new era of progress, reforms in the religious and educational sphere, and to convey the essence of constructive activities to the general public.
As part of the project, there will be a presentation of the Uzbek translation of the Quran «Anvarul-Qur'on: Faizul-Furkon,» carried out by Mirzo Kenjabek, a translator from the Center of Islamic Civilization. Additionally, active participants and guests will be gifted album books from the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Popularization of Uzbekistan's Cultural Heritage series «Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in World Collections.» There are also plans to screen documentaries and animated films about prominent scholars of the Islamic world, such as Al-Khwarizmi and Abu Rayhan Biruni, along with scientific-educational video presentations.
The «Caravan of Enlightenment» is a new project aimed at enhancing the knowledge level of intellectuals and those responsible for spirituality and enlightenment across all regions of the country. It is also important to acquaint participants with the work being done by the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, it seeks to gather feedback from our intellectuals on this activity. Most importantly, it aims to communicate to a broad audience the reforms being implemented by our President within New Uzbekistan using modern methods,» noted Otabek Khasanov, Director of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment.
The «Caravan of Enlightenment» is organized by the Center of Islamic Civilization in collaboration with the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, international research centers named after Imam Bukhari, Imam Maturidi, Imam Termizi, the Academy of Sciences, and regional hokimiyats.
