Air Samarkand has introduced a direct flight from Tashkent to Al Ain (UAE). The inaugural flight took place on September 22, according to the airline's press service.
The flights are operated using an Airbus A321 aircraft. The economy class cabin accommodates 182 passengers, while the business class section offers 12 seats.
The flights are conducted in partnership with tour operator EasyBoking once a week on Sundays:
• Departure from Tashkent at 10:40 AM, arrival in Al Ain at 1:20 PM (local time);
• Departure from Al Ain at 3:00 PM, arrival in Tashkent at 7:40 PM (local time).
Al Ain is the fourth largest city in the United Arab Emirates. It is a significant cultural center, often described as a green oasis in the desert. The city is renowned for its parks, fountains, and historical and natural attractions, including Al Jahili Fort, Jebel Hafeet mountain, and the Buraimi Oasis. Al Ain Airport is equidistant from Abu Dhabi and Dubai — 155 and 130 km respectively — and is connected to both cities by modern highways.
In the future, the airline plans to launch flights to the international airports of Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Dubai (DXB).
